                    Art comes in many shapes and forms. Realistic drawings of people or things, in my opinion, is essential to being an artist. Sometimes, drawing cartoons and anime can get a little boring. It's exciting to draw something realistic and watch it come to life before your eyes. Attention to detail is very important, and practice is the best way to improve.

                   Here are three realistic drawings of different people. You might know them: the first is Demi Lovato, the second is Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games, and third is from one of the saddest romance movies. You guessed it- it's Hazel Grace and Augustus Waters from The Fault In Our Stars. One thing I love about realistic drawings is that it can be of anyone or anything- a family member, a favorite character, or even a drawing of your favorite place. Personally, I like drawing people more. I like catching every feature of their faces on paper. It is fun to draw a person, because then you can keep that drawing forever. Drawing people takes a lot of shading and precision when it comes to drawing lines and features of the face. Without shading, faces wouldn't look real and the drawing might just look like a sketch or cartoon instead. 

                In conclusion, art comes in many shapes and sizes, including realistic art. Realistic art can be drawn in color or not in color, but either way it will still be beautiful. Realistic art or a drawing of a person can be made into a portrait and put up as a decoration in your home.

IMVU (Sounds like I envy you)

IMVU (Sounds like I envy you)

IMVU is a virtual world game. It was founded in the year 2004 in California. It involves virtual chat rooms, games, avatar creating, and more. IMVU is a game where anything can happen if you use your imagination. The limits are endless when it comes to creating things. 

IMVU stands for Instant Message Virtual Universe. I began playing IMVU around the year 2008. I was astonished. In this game, I could buy any piece of clothing I wanted, I could go to chat rooms that were created purely out of people's imagination. There are places like castles' forests, clubs, apartments, you name it. I've met so many different people and seen so many different avatars on this game. This picture is of an avatar I created myself. I love this game because the 3D rendering makes my avatar look so realistic and I find her quite beautiful. IMVU is not only a place for chat rooms, it is also a good place for fashion. Any thing that is in style right now, you can find on IMVU. I'm talking high-waist shorts, long hairstyles, nails, shoes, sneakers, and beautiful tops and dresses. You can make your avatar look like anything you want, but I warn you, it isn't free. This game is addicting and I don't think I'll ever find anything like it. 

In conclusion, IMVU is a virtual instant messaging universe. The graphics in the game are excellent, especially if you know what to buy. You can be anything you want, as long as you have an imagination. 

The Last of Us by NaughtyDog

               Here's another example of excellent digitally created art. "The Last of Us" is the name of the game, and it's one of the best games I've ever played. Digital art and video game making began a long time ago, around the 1970's. Back then, there was pretty much only primitive photos and basic games like Tetris and Pac-Man. Technology has taken a huge step in the right direction since then.

           
          "The Last of Us" made it's first debut in 2013. It took the gaming society by storm with its excellent story and stunning graphics. It left me begging for more, after I finished the game. The game is strikingly realistic, and the story is so good that they are making a movie based off the game. Besides the good story telling, the graphics of "The Last of Us" are remarkable. They used professional actors to portray the characters in the game. This is part of the reason why the game looks so real. The creators used computers and 3-D rendering and other processes to create the landscapes in the game, the characters faces, and other things. It takes a great deal of work to create something like this. It's a lot like movie making - the only thing is it takes much longer and much more work, thought and consideration for all the factors that make a video game a video game. The game takes an estimated 15 hours to complete. It's literally like your in a movie, but instead of watching it, you're actually in it, making moves and decisions that determine your future. That is a quality that no movie or show can deliver.
           In conclusion, digital and computer art has come a long way. From basic games like Tetris and Pac-Man, to more complex and exciting games like The Last of Us that will leave your heart pumping and your soul begging for more. Maybe one day over summer vacation you can try it out and experience for yourself the wonders of this game. I'm sure you will love the graphics, the story, the music, the places it will take you. You might just fall in love with this game, like I have.

Computer Art

There are many types of art in the world. Fine art, computer art, graphic art, even sculpting.There possibilities are limitless if you are an artist and you have an imagination. When it comes to both of these, and a good program, you can make digital art. Digital Art, in my opinion, is the best kind of art there is. You can make anything you want, and make it come to life. Video games are an example of the wonders of digital art. Animated movies are, too. Digital art is not always animated, though. It can be a picture, or a design that might be hard to replicate on paper. 

This picture is something I found on a wallpaper website. It is a painting of Maddie Zielger, who was the dancer in Sia's "Chandelier" music video. Looks pretty realistic, doesn't it? This is the work of someone who has the patience and imagination to create digital paintings. It doesn't stop at a portrait, though. Landscapes can be created, characters can be made from pure imagination. Whole worlds can be made with the use of digital art-making.

In conclusion, there are many types of art in the world. Digital art unlocks the boundaries between real and make-believe. Have an idea or dream that you want to make real? Try making digital art. Anything you can imagine can be brought to life. The possibilities are endless.
